A graduate and post-graduate degree holder in Electrical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Joshua leads Special Projects in the Macroeconomics and Policy Advocacy team at Tata Sons. Over the last year and a half, he has been working closely with the Group Chairman, the Group Chief Economist, and multiple stakeholders both within and outside the Tata Group to develop the Tata Group’s vision for an inclusive ‘Future of Work’ in India. He has led the team’s thought leadership work and research efforts on this front. He has also supported representations to global and local policymaking entities including the Economic Development Board of Singapore and the Prime Minister’s Office, on various topics, from regulating the digital economy to innovative employment generation models that leverage technology. Joshua previously spent 7 years as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney India, delivering multiple large-scale strategy consulting engagements across Europe, South-East Asia and India. He is experienced in long-term strategy development, large-scale transformations and operations improvement in Consumer Goods, Online & Offline Retail and Automotive sectors.
