Katharina Kiefel was born in Kazakhstan on January 2nd, 1988 and grew up in a small village in Sauerland. She works as a Program and Event Manager for the non-profit organization Amerika Haus e.V. NRW in Cologne and organizes lectures, discussions, concerts and other events with the aim of strengthening and developing transatlantic relations.
Katharina received her bachelor’s degree in English Studies and her master’s degree in North American Studies with the majors in international relations and economics from the University of Bonn. Before her studies she spent two years abroad in Atlanta, Georgia USA.
