Marklyn is the Senior Operations Associate of the Religion & Society Program at the Aspen Institute. In this role, she works under the direction of the Associate Director to provide centralized operations, program support, and administrative management for the team.
Marklyn has an extensive background in advocacy, electoral campaign development, project management, and operations and logistic coordination. Prior to joining the Program in October 2021, she spent more than 5 years in various public service roles, including the National Organizing Manager, with Planned Parenthood Federation of America and associated affiliates. She began her career in the non-profit and political sectors after graduating with a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University-Camden, New Jersey in May 2013.
When she’s not organizing a task, you can find this proud first-generation Haitian American uncovering new restaurants in the DC/Maryland area, booking an undeniable flight deal to the Caribbean, or cooking 3-course meals for her partner.
