Mayank is working as Scientist-D in Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). He is having more than 15 years of experience in ICT domain. As Scientist-D in the Ministry, he is working in Emerging Technologies & Digital Payments Divisions. Under Emerging Technologies, he is overseeing the disruptive technologies like IOT, Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, AR/VR etc and is working for creation of ecosystem and policy formulation. He is also a member of standardisation related working group of IOT and AI committees constituted under Bureau of Indian Standards. Under Digital payments he is working for the growth of Digital payments and is involved in creation of digital payments acceptance infrastructure, liasioning with Fintechs, NPCI, RBI and others for development of enabling environment in the Country and for growth of Digital payments. Previously he was working with BSNL as Deputy Manager and was a part of ERP implementation core team. He was also a part of BSNL team to manage Narrow Band & Broadband internet services and other new services. He has B.Tech degree from Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra and PGDBA from Symbiosis. He has been awarded and appreciated many times at organisation level in various events.
