Natasha Johnson is the Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Division of Family Development (DFD) overseeing child care, child support, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, food assistance) and Work First New Jersey – the state’s cash assistance program, that includes Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and General Assistance (GA). This $5 billion state agency serves more than a million New Jersey residents. Natasha has more than 25 years of experience working with children and families, as a social services clinician as well as a manager who developed, launched and supervised social services programs.
