Originally from Southern California and now based in Seattle, Nyssa is an international tech and privacy lawyer at Perkins Coie LLP, where she focuses on international data disclosure requests, cross-border data flows, government investigations, and data security and privacy laws. Additionally, she is a Washington Leadership Institute Fellow and the founder of Mentor in Law, a global mentorship platform for law students and lawyers. Previously, she was an IP lawyer at Microsoft. Prior to law school, she spent a few years in diplomacy and human rights at the U.S. Department of State across Europe and Asia, was a Fulbright scholar in journalism in Germany, and co-founded a health and wellness company.
