Sarah Perez is a rising environmental justice leader looking to improve the health and quality of life of all. With experience serving in and collaborating with government offices, university research centers, and non-profit organizations, she is devoted to ensuring projects and partnerships meet the needs of frontline communities. Sarah has served as an EJ Fellow for Pacoima Beautiful where she created educational resources on the health and environmental impacts of leaded aviation fuel. As a Water Projects Assistant at UCLA’s Luskin Center for Innovation, she co-created a web-mapping tool of LA County water systems to promote governance transparency, rate system performance, and assess utility affordability. Sarah’s life experiences and interests led her to pursue a degree in public affairs from UCLA with minors in environmental systems and global research.
