Sharon Wells is the Gallery Manager of the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies at the Aspen Institute, based in Aspen, Colorado. She is responsible for facilitating meaningful visitor experiences for diverse audiences, from local school groups to international visitors. Sharon represents the Bayer Center with a welcoming and knowledgeable presence and demonstrates to visitors why Herbert Bayer is so important to the Aspen Institute, the City of Aspen, and internationally. Sharon is also responsible for daily operations and is the retail manager overseeing inventory and sales.
Before embarking on a career in graphic design, Sharon managed Great Things!, two retail stores in Southern California that focused on great design from around the world. She attended UCLA and USC and ultimately earned her B.F.A. degree in Illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
