Symposium on Critical Issues in Journalism

This closed event is for participants in the U.S. Department of State Edward R. Murrow Journalism Program.

Featuring Aspen Institute President and CEO Walter Isaacson in conversation with Washington Post Associate Editor Bob Woodward, who will share insights from his celebrated career covering the leading figures and institutions of American democracy.

Maura M. Pally, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Professional and Cultural Exchanges in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, will open the Symposium, which will also include brief remarks by Philip J. Crowley, Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs.
