Featuring Alec Ross, one of America’s leading experts on innovation, in conversation with Charlie Firestone, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Communications and Society Program. Alec served for four years as Senior Advisor for Innovation to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a role that earned him a Distinguished Honor Award from the State Department. He is currently a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins University and serves as an advisor to investors, corporations, and government leaders. Alec will discuss his book The Industries of the Future, which examines what’s next for the world: the advances and stumbling blocks that will emerge in the next ten years, and how we can navigate them.
