Aspen Planning and Evaluation Program

The Aspen Planning and Evaluation Program (APEP) was a consulting practice at the Aspen Institute. We partnered with foundations, nonprofit organizations, and individual funders to help them plan, evaluate, and strengthen their efforts to bring about positive changes in society.

We integrated a range of methods and tools to help our clients:

  • Think through where they want to go and how to know they are getting there
  • Collect data on meaningful indicators of progress
  • Clarify what’s working and what’s not
  • Use what we learn together to inform and improve strategy
