The Grandeur That was Rome
After four Aspen Institute seminars on Florence, we open our series on Renaissance Rome with a seminar in Aspen from December 14-16, 2011.
During our three morning sessions, our world-class moderators, Bill Cook and Ross King will use artistic masterpieces to guide us through the art, philosophy, theology, commerce, lifestyle, and politics of Renaissance Rome. We’ll cover ancient Greek and Roman philosophers, classical art, the flourishing of the Roman Empire, the birth of Christianity – and so much more.
