Becoming an Inclusive Republic Seminar
Our nation’s Founding Fathers were in a constant state of debate with each other and we will be working with some of the most famous products of that time as well as contemporary pieces that provide texture to our national conversation on societal norms, nationhood, and our obligations to each other and the world. Moreover, we will explore the context in which our founding documents were written, discuss the state of our democratic institutions, and examine our expectations for national leaders.
Moderated by Russell Muirhead, Robert Clements Associate Professor of Democracy and Politics at Dartmouth University.
