SOF Discussion Reception: The Digital Effect: The Future of News
Society of Fellows members are invited to join us in Aspen at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, July 14 for an SOF Discussion Reception featuring Campbell Brown, vice president of global news partnerships at Facebook, in conversation with Simone Oliver, global editor-in-chief at Refinery29, Inc., for an exploration of the disputed role Facebook and social media platforms play in journalism, information sharing, and beyond.
While we are pleased to present you with this opportunity to register, we ask that you please do so thoughtfully. To ensure that every available seat will be utilized for each event, we will implement a strict cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend an event for which you are registered, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours of notice prior to the event. If you fail to show up to an event for which you are registered without having provided notice of your cancelation, we reserve the right to cancel your registration for subsequent events. Of course we understand that certain circumstances are unavoidable emergencies, but otherwise we must do everything we can to accommodate the maximum number of SOF members for each program.
