The Aspen Institute Community Strategies Group (CSG) energizes and prepares people, organizations and collaboratives to do the best for their communities and regions.

CSG seeks to advance community and economic development, just and civic cultures, family livelihoods and the development of locally controlled philanthropic resources. To do so, CSG designs and manages action-inducing peer-learning among organizations, leaders and policymakers. It convenes thinkers and doers to swap strategies and find common ground. It manages initiatives that catalyze innovation and progress. It builds networks to spread good ideas and useful lessons. It produces tools, analysis and stories that help communities make better decisions.

Overall, CSG helps sharpen focus and action.
