All Things New at APEP

May 20, 2011

Dear Readers:
We know: this doesn’t look like your typical Friday dose of advocacy with impact. But there is a reason! Over the past year, we’ve been working hard to develop and improve the tools and services we offer our colleagues and clients. We’d like to take this week to share what’s new and exciting here at APEP. We also hope that you will take three minutes to fill out our AMAZINGLY short survey at the end of this email. Just press REPLY and we’ll see your feedback.

The Advocacy Progress Planner (APP)
Our free online advocacy planning and evaluation tool has gotten bigger, better and easier to use. For those of you who remember the “old APP” this is a significant step forward. We took feedback from users over the years and created a more interactive experience to help advocates and their funders plan and evaluate their impact. Explore what is new and create an account if you haven’t already!

Our New Website
Well, it is the same website with a very new look. We hope that our new flow will help you find what you want to know about who we are, how we approach advocacy evaluation, what we do, and what we’ve done.

From Continuous Progress to Advocacy Planning and Evaluation
Many of you may know us as Continuous Progress Strategic Services (CPSS). We’ve mainstreamed most of our work under our Advocacy Planning and Evaluation Program (APEP) – a name that has the advantage of actually saying what we do. We still offer the same Continuous Progress tools, So weep not, friends.

Now We Are Three (almost)
Our core team is once again expanding by 50% – just as soon as Robert Medina can pack up his new Masters from Berkeley, clean out the apartment, and make his way to beautiful Washington, DC.

Questions for you (please press REPLY to submit your responses):

  1. What do you like most about “So What”
  2. What do you like least about “So What”
  3. What would you like to see more of in “So What” (topics, questions, or organizations you’d like us to feature- even if it is YOU!)
  4. Anything else?
