Aspen IFS Hosts Book Talk on “Scarcity: Why Having Too Little Means So Much”

On Thursday, September 26, 2013, The Aspen Institute on Financial Security (Aspen IFS) hosted a book talk at the Aspen Institutes headquarters on Scarcity: Why Having Too Little Means So Much. Lisa Mensah, Founder & Director of Aspen IFS, moderated a discussion with Sendhil Mullainathan, co-author of Scarcity and a Professor of Economics at Harvard University.

Mullainathan and his co-author, Eldar Shafir, wrote Scarcity to provide a new way of understanding why poverty persists and how individuals and policymakers can better manage scarcity for greater success and financial well-being.
