Aspen IFS Hosts Conversation with Small Business Administrator Karen Mills

On April 12, 2012, the Aspen Institute Initiative on Financial Security (Aspen IFS) hosted a conversation that focused on what is needed to make small businesses a robust engine of development for jobs that offer financial security for workers. 

As part of the Aspen Institute event series, “Building the Economy We Want: Aspen Asks What Will it Take?” this discussion featured Karen Mills, administrator of the Small Business Administration, and moderator Jared Sandberg, editor of, with opening remarks from Robert Steel, NYC Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and the Aspen Institute’s Board Chairman.
