Our Work and Events: COVID-19 Update

March 12, 2020  • The Aspen Institute

The Aspen Institute is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its implications for all. Our top priority is the safety and health of our employees and those we serve. As the coronavirus has spread at an increasing speed, we have taken a number of steps to preserve the wellbeing of our staff, partners, program participants, and guests. This is a dynamic situation and like many organizations, we are evaluating this approach on a daily basis.

Beginning Monday, March 16, all employees in all locations will work remotely through March 30—and perhaps longer depending upon our evaluation of the situation at that time. No Aspen Institute events will be held in our offices or in other locations during this period. As we postpone events and convenings, we will be pursuing other means of delivering our content virtually and fulfilling our mission of driving change toward a free, just, and equitable society.
