Thelma Golden,Henry Crown Fellow and director and chief curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem, was given a prime seat at the recent White House State Dinner welcoming French President Francois Hollande. As Hollande arrived without a first lady to fill his guest seat, the White House tapped Golden to be seated at the head table, as described in the Washington Post.
