International Year of Water Cooperation

UN logo2013 is the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation. Over the next few weeks, we will look at issues related to water, a valuable resource that connects us all.

Today we start with a conversation from the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival, “Is Water the Next Global Security Threat?” In this clip, Sylvia Lee, water manager for Skoll Global Threats, brings the issue of water scarcity closer to home and examines how we allocate water in the United States.
