Lisa Mensah Delivers Opening Plenary at 2012 Assets Learning Conference

From September 19 to September 21, 2012, CFED hosted the Assets Learning Conference in Washington D.C. Lisa Mensah, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute’s Initiative on Financial Security (Aspen IFS) spoke at the Opening Plenary: Learn, Earn, Save, Invest, and Protect – A Financial Security Framework.  She was joined by Jon Campbell, Executive Vice President and Director of Social Responsibility at Wells Fargo; Richard Cordray, Director at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Andrea Levere, President of CFED.  

Mensah laid out a vision for how we can leverage the strengths of the government and the private sector to both maximize income and incentivize savings.
