Monday, July 25 at 7:30pm | Isis Theatre (406 E. Hopkins Ave, Aspen CO)
SUBJECT – directed by Jennifer Tiexiera + Camilla Hall
“Should be required viewing” – Variety
SUBJECT explores the life-altering experience of sharing one’s life on screen through the participants of five acclaimed documentaries. As tens of millions of people consume documentaries in an unprecedented “golden era,” the film urges audiences to consider the impact on documentary participants—the good, the bad, and the complicated.
Filmmaker Jennifer Tiexiera and film subject Mukunda Angulo will participate in a post-screening panel and audience Q&A moderated by Journalist Andrew Travers.
The Aspen Institute Arts Program and Aspen Film are pleased to announce the line-up of acclaimed documentaries for the 2022 Eisner/Lauder New Views Documentaries & Dialogue Series: GABBY GIFFORDS WON’T BACK DOWN, SUBJECT, and STILL WORKING 9 TO 5.
