Fellows from the Central America Leadership Initiative and the South Africa Leadership Initiative gathered in Aspen for the “Leading in an Era of Globalization” Seminar September 24-28, 2008. During the event, The Aspen Institute hosted a timely public forum titled Leadership in an Era of Globalization: Central America and South Africa, moderated by Peter Reiling, Executive Vice President of Leadership and Seminar Programs, and featuring panelists Andres Botran, Secretary of World Food Security Program, Alberto Solano, Latin American Programs Director at Global Partnerships, Raisibe Morathi, Executive Director of Group Services at Sanlam Limited, and Derek Thomas, Executive Director of Letsema Holdings.
