Forgiveness and Spirituality with Father William Meninger

A Trappist monk, Father William has lived at the nearby St. Benedict’s Monastery in Snowmass, Colorado since 1979.  He participated in the Aspen Institute Arts & Ideas seminar “On Forgiveness,” having written a book, lectured, and counselled on the difficult process of forgiveness.

During this holiday season, he will also inform us about the contemplative and spiritual aspects of life.  While a monk, Father William developed a contemplative prayer method based on the 14th-century treatise The Cloud of Unknowing called “centering prayer.”
