Contextualize your time in Aspen by learning some rudimentary Aspen history, and the beginnings of the Aspen Institute, by touring this Bauhaus-inspired campus designed by Herbert Bayer. You will visit the outdoor sculptures and earthworks and see the art exhibition on view. Be inspired by the unique surroundings that are the beginnings of modern Aspen and the Aspen Institute. This tour is led by curator Lissa Ballinger.
All tours meet at the Doerr-Hosier Center (845 Meadows Rd.)
