ASG Summer Workshop 2023
The Aspen Strategy Group gathered for the 2023 Summer Workshop from July 21 to July 24 in Aspen, CO. The meeting brought together over 50 ASG members and invited experts from the fields of government, academia, journalism, and business to discuss rapid technological change and its impact on U.S. national security strategy.
Great power conflict is back, but the technologies used to win it are changing much faster than our planners and strategists can digest. This year’s sessions were dedicated to examining the twenty-first century battlefield and devising a corresponding forward-looking U.S. defense strategy to face these realities.
In the coming months, the Aspen Strategy Group will publish a collection of articles from the participants based on the workshop discussions, as well as compile any pieces published in major media outlets that promote the ideas emanating from the meeting. This collection will be available in fall 2023.
