Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.
The Aspen Creative Placemaking Roundtable serves as an influential platform that regularly brings diverse creative placemakers, civic leaders, business executives, and other eminent personalities together to Aspen to solve pressing local issues by using the tools of creative placemaking. Over two days, a selected group of about 30 participants will be invited to present and work on selected projects. Participants will troubleshoot, brainstorm, address challenges they face, and shape the development of their projects while capitalizing on networking opportunities and inspiring stories. Sponsored by the Global Initiative on Culture and Society and ArtPlace.
