Lunch Roundtable on Communications

The Aspen Institute Communications and Society Program is holding a lunch and roundtable discussion with European Commission Vice President and Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes at the Cosmos Club on Thursday, December 16, 2010. After the meal, 27 thought leaders, business executives, government officials, policy-makers and journalists will discuss issues in transatlantic communications. Participants include European Union Ambassador to the United States João Vale de Almeida, Senior Advisor for Innovation at the State Department Alec Ross, NTIA Chief Anna Gomez, Department of Commerce General Counsel Cameron Kerry, former FCC Chairman Reed Hundt, as well as heads of FOSI, EPIC, Public Knowledge and representatives from communications industries.

 

This event is part of the Aspen Institute Roundtables on Communications, a series that addresses important policy questions in the information and communications fields.
