Dan Tangherlini is administrator of the US General Services Administration, “The Collaboration Imperative.” He has played a pivotal role in President Barack Obama’s agenda to build a more sustainable, responsible, and effective government. GSA is responsible for improving the government’s workplace by managing assets, delivering maximum value in acquisition’s, preserving historic property and implementing technology solutions. Tangherlini has a long track record of fiscal and management leadership. Before joining GSA, he served as the Treasury’s Assistant Secretary for Management, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Performance Officer, making him the principal policy advisor on the development and execution of budget and performance plans for Treasury. he will discuss his view of the GSA and his insights into the government’s role in providing effective and efficient service to the American people.
