Building Knowledge about Neighborhoods, Community Processes and Individual Development
The Aspen Institute Roundtable on Community Change will host a meeting on “Building Knowledge about Neighborhoods, Community Processes, and Individual Development to Inform Place-Based Interventions” on September 8-9, at the Aspen Institute in Washington, D.C. Researchers, policy experts, and practitioners will discuss how the design and management of community change efforts and neighborhood-based services could be improved by having access to data sources that provide longitudinal information about neighborhood residents and neighborhood processes as well as data that provide a “snapshot” of the neighborhood at different points in time. The meeting is supported by a grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
