2019 Aspen Ideas Festival Arts Track: Capturing a Legend: Aretha Franklin

The Arts Track at the 2019 Aspen Ideas Festival ended with an Eisner/Lauder New Views Documentary Series screening of Amazing Grace. This film is an unfettered look at Aretha’s soaring artistry and her deep connection to gospel music that remains ever relevant. Post screening panel further enriched the experience as we heard from a member of Aretha’s family, a music scholar and one of the film’s producers.
