U.S. – Lebanon Dialogue Program convened a panel discussion on objectives and results of current US policy on Lebanon and Syria. Both speakers dismissed the prospect of another Hezbollah-Israel conflict this summer.

Aspen’s Executive Director for Middle East Programs Toni G. Verstandig chaired and moderated the discussion between Abrams, Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern Studies, Council on Foreign Relations; and Aaron David Miller, Public Policy Scholar, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Former Senior Advisor on the Middle East to six U.S. Secretaries of State.
