Each year community members come together to engage in lively and rigorous exploration of the Great Books as well as other significant contemporary works. This 5-week series will feature authors including Plato, Rousseau, Kant, Jung, Hume and others. Senior Aspen Institute moderator Pete Thigpen will lead the series. Pete spent 15 years studying with Mortimer Adler, co-founder of the Great Books Foundation, and has been moderating the Aspen Institute’s executive seminar since 1989.

Fee: $195, includes readings and light refreshments. The Great Books program is now full.
