Location

Washington, DC, United States

Hosts

A roundtable discussion on how to build a nation of innovation in Palestine, so as to empower the next generation of Palestinian youth. It is through partnership that we can help build a knowledge-based society of entrepreneurs.

Since 2007, the Aspen Institute’s U.S.-Palestinian Partnership (UPP) has been fostering partnerships between American and Palestinian public, private and nonprofit stakeholders by implementing income-generating projects and encouraging business investment and entrepreneurship in the West Bank and Gaza. Since its onset, UPP has championed scores of meaningful private sector investments in the West Bank.

The UPP seeks to strengthen the Palestinian private sector by encouraging broader economic growth, development, and job creation for Palestinians. In addition to expanding U.S. investment and engagement in the region, UPP’s goal is to enhance Palestinian capacity in information communications technology (ICT) in order to encourage economic growth, development and job creation.

By invitation only.
