Our Nation’s Role in Helping Sport Build Leaders and the Good Society, featuring Tom McMillen and moderated by Tom Farrey

What role does sport play in our society? Tom McMillen‘s life has touched many facets to that question as a Rhodes Scholar, pro basketball player, US Olympian, congressman, co-chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and president of the NCAA athletic directors association LEAD1. As sport continues to tackle big questions – the role of Congress and the US Olympic Committee in American sports; the FBI intervention into college basketball; the Supreme Court’s consideration of legalized sports gambling – Tom McMillen will offer insight into the complexities surrounding sports’ role to build leaders.
