On the evening of June 2, The Aspen Institute and Christie’s will launch a special series of collaborative programming that will explore the nexus of art, culture and society. To launch this series we have decided to feature a panel discussion on the topic of “Making, Collecting, and Experiencing Art in the Digital Age.” The panel will focus on and examine various ideas such as the globalization of art and art in the digital age.

Moderator:

  • Anand Giridharadas, author and New York Times columnist

  • Thelma Golden, director and chief curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem
  • Kevin Slavin, professor, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
  • Matthew Ritchie, artist
