Meet AWF Writer in Residence Hannah Tinti
Hannah Tinti is a writer, editor and teacher. Her 2008 short story collection, “Animal Crackers”, was a runner-up for the PEN/Hemingway award. Her best-selling novel, “The Good Thief”, published the same year, was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, recipient of the American Library Association’s Alex Award, winner of the The Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize, and winner of the Quality Paperback Book Club’s New Voices Award.
Tinti is working on a new novel during her Aspen Writers’ Foundation residency in Woody Creek. On August 19, she will read and discuss her work at the Woody Creek Community Center. A limited number of free copies of “The Good Thief” will be available to those who attend the event.
