Ocean Community Strategy Roundtable
This ocean community leaders roundtable was focused on the recently published “Ocean Community Report” from the Aspen Institute’s Energy & Environment Program. The report was based in part on a December 2012 summit at Fort Baker, California, during which a group of 35 ocean experts came together to evaluate ways in which the conservation community can improve its approach to policy and advocacy and thereby significantly scale its global impact.
Building on this work during a two-day meeting at Aspen Wye River, participants discussed the report’s findings and collectively identified actions that the ocean conservation community can take to foster more effective collaboration and alignment on known strategic objectives with critical ocean stakeholders.
