Pursuit of Happiness Hour – The Change Within: New Ways of Living?

Join us every Wednesday at 5:00 pm ET for a candid discussion among leaders about reimagining a better society on the other side of COVID. As we confront the chaos of the current crisis, how do we think creatively about assembling the pieces of our societies for greater freedom, justice, and equity? What differences would we like to see in our habits, institutions, and values? How do we begin to think differently in ways that lead to more purposeful action? How do we make sure that these big questions don’t overwhelm us into inaction?

The Change Within: New Ways of Living?

The fifth in a weekly series reimagining society post COVID-19. Our first four meetings have revolved around the big questions embedded in reimagining the social contract-What are the fundamental principles upon which we would want to build a better society? In this workshop we turn inward to examine the ways in which we would like to change our own ways of living? What have you discovered in these weeks about your own habits of living? What would you like to preserve? What would you like to change? How do you think about the practical steps for managing the change within as you think about new ways of living?

The Pursuit of Happiness Hour is a weekly conversation meant to provide you space to actively explore the large scale questions of the current crisis in a productive way with others.

Registration will close at 5:00 pm ET the day before the seminar is scheduled to take place. If you have any questions, please contact Maryna Markowicz at maryna.markowicz@aspeninstitute.org.
