There’s nothing like the communal practice of experiencing art — be it a play, opera, ballet, concert, or museum visit. The in-person exchange among artists and between artists and audiences is one of our most ancient and revered practices. As we gathered again, we celebrated this essential ritual and discussed the ways in which art should address our changing society.
