Roundtable on Automation and Innovation

This evening roundtable conversation, hosted by Obvious Ventures and Medium, focused on reimagining work in a context of rapid technological advances and social shifts. The discussion explored topics including education for the new workforce, hiring practices, the role of automation, and how new tools (like better skill matching and development platforms) can help work and workers more efficiently contribute and find meaningful work — even as some jobs may be replaced by automation. Future of Work Honorary Co-Chair Senator Mark Warner, Co-Chair Bruce Reed and Fellow Greg Nelson participated.
