In a Polarized World, Binding Values and Society

“Binding Values and Society” invites us to explore the political, economic, and social forces that drive today’s contentious global discourse. We weigh definitions of humanity past, present, and still to come; reckon with our dominant economic frameworks; and end on practical means of reaching a shared and prosperous future. Our most deeply held values express both poverty and power, a sense of place and a sense of rootlessness, isolation and community: only by knowing these oppositions can we move beyond them.

Leigh Hafrey  Moderated by Leigh Hafrey, Senior Lecturer in Behavioral and Policy Sciences at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
