SOF Digital Discussion: Is Anyone Actually Being Canceled? Examining the Boundaries of Free Speech in Civil Society
Join us for an SOF Digital Discussion featuring John McWhorter, Professor of Linguistics at Columbia University, in conversation with Michelle Goldberg, opinion columnist for The New York Times. McWhorter and Goldberg will explore the current debates around so-called cancel culture, including whether it truly exists, and if so, how pervasive and threatening it is to free speech and the livelihoods of professionals in academia, the media, and other fields.
