Join us for an SOF Discussion Reception: Art, Architecture, and Aspen: A Sneak Peek at the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies featuring art historian and curator James Merle Thomas, the newly appointed Lynda Resnick Executive Director of the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies, and Bayer Center lead designer Jeffrey Berkus, president of Jeffrey Berkus Architects. As a sneak peek in advance of a December soft opening, Thomas and Berkus will speak about the realization of the Center with specific insights into the thoughtful design and planning process. The two will explore the curatorial and programmatic vision of the Center, as well as the imaginative and practical responses to architectural and land-use challenges presented by the Bauhaus design and reshaping of the entrance to campus.

This program is generously hosted by Melony and Adam Lewis.
