SOF Impact Defined: Aspen Institute Center for Native American Youth

Society of Fellows members are invited to join us for the next SOF Impact Defined program on Thursday, May 20 featuring the Institute’s Center for Native American Youth (CNAY) with Executive Director Nikki Pitre. CNAY is a national education and advocacy organization that works alongside Native youth—ages 24 and under—on reservations, in rural villages and urban spaces across the country to improve their health, safety, and overall well-being. All Native youth deserve to lead full and healthy lives, have equal access to opportunity, draw strength from Native culture, and inspire one another. CNAY utilizes an empowerment model with culturally-immersive curriculum for its programming and focuses on narrative change and youth-led policy solutions. Since 2018, Nikki has led national recognition programs and created initiatives to build virtual community for youth to address land conservation and work on the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women epidemic.

About SOF Impact Defined
SOF Impact Defined is a new series of events for SOF members to engage in personal interactions with the directors of the Institute’s policy, leadership, and public programs. SOF members have the unique opportunity for intimate dialogues with Institute leaders about current initiatives, future plans, and how to get involved.

Only those who have registered will receive an email with the link to access the event one hour before start time.

*This program is reserved for members of the Society of Fellows. If you are not an SOF member and are interested in joining, please email sof@aspeninstitute.org.
