The United States and the Global Financial Crisis

Michael Froman, Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economic Affairs, spoke at the Institute’s monthly Aspen Roundtable Series on May 8th, moderated by Walter Isaacson. Froman held forth on the US and the Global Financial Crisis. Among the guests joining in this lively discussion were German Ambassador to the US Klaus Scharioth,  Ellen Laipson of the Henry L. Stimson Center, John Morton of the Pew Charitable Trust and Washington Post columnist Jim Hoagland. The Aspen Roundtable Series is made possible with the generous support of Amb.
