Aspen Institute to Host Fourth Annual Symposium on The State of Race in America
Speakers include Mayor Michael Nutter, Tanner Colby and Cornell Belcher
What: The Aspen Institute Communications and Society Program, in association with Comcast Corporation, will host the fourth annual Aspen Institute Symposium on the State of Race in America. The Symposium will explore new attitudes, opportunities, and challenges for and about people of color in 21st century America. The Symposium will touch on individual, cultural, institutional and structural causes of racial problems, looking towards new and viable solutions.
The Symposium will feature three substantive panel sessions: Housing; Violence in Minority Communities; and News and Entertainment.
