Briana Robles is a student at Webster University majoring in Biology with a minor in Sustainability Studies. She works on campus as an English language tutor for high school immigrants and refugees and will be leading various sustainability initiatives on campus as part of the WebsterLEADS Certification Program. Upon graduation Briana plans to volunteer with AmeriCorps with a particular interest in Food Corps, which is dedicated to food justice for school-aged children, and to intern on regenerative and sustainable farms around the world. Long-term Briana plans on becoming a social entrepreneur in St. Louis to empower the next generation through sustainability and nutrition education that promotes social justice and fosters stewardship of the land, community, and self. Briana is a second-generation Mexican American and a first-generation college student. Her life motto is “Familia es todo“. Selected to participate as a 2019-2020 St. Louis fellow of the Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship (AYLF) program.
