Coda Rayo-Garza is a Senior Coordinator with the San Antonio School District.

Coda Rayo-Garza is a Senior Coordinator with the San Antonio School District. Coda is a native of Laredo, TX whose heart belongs to San Antonio. She is the Senior Coordinator for the Deputy Superintendent of Schools at San Antonio Independent School District. She formerly served as Director of Policy for Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales, as well as Director of Zoning and Planning for former Councilman Ron Nirenberg. Coda earned her M.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.A. in Philosophy from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. A proud member of the inaugural class of the Latina Leadership Institute, Coda has dedicated most of her work to serving the public. From volunteering with her neighborhood association, serving as a mentor to young Latinas, and co-founding her own non-profit (Fiesta Wishes), Coda is dedicated to causes that will increase civic engagement and enhance equity in our community. Currently, Coda serves as Board Chair for MOVE San Antonio. She is a graduate of the New Leaders Council and a 2018 Political Partner with the Truman National Security Project. Coda is a proud mother of two children.
